Lunique-Gite

Property Area: 65m2 Number of Guests: 2 maximum The premises include the following rooms:

1 living room and dining area, 1 fully equipped kitchen (with natural stone countertop), 2 WC toilets, 1 MASTER SUITE with walk-in shower, washing machine, 1 steam iron, and ironing board, 1 additional refrigerator for breakfast in the entrance hall. The property includes the following outbuildings:

1 garage, 1 private wooden terrace of 40 m2 with garden furniture, armchairs, 2 sunbeds, 1 second terrace with private SPA, 1 private heated swimming pool from mid-April to mid-October secured by an alarm, 2 sunbeds.

Subject: These general terms and conditions of sale govern the relationship between Lunique-gite and the tenant who makes an online reservation on the website.

Reservation: The reservation of the cottage can be made online through the website, by phone, or by email. The payment of the deposit - 50% - is required to confirm the reservation.

Inventory and Check-in: A joint inventory and an inventory of the furniture will be provided to the tenant upon entry and will be subject to verification at the end of the rental. If the inventory and/or the furniture list are not established jointly and signed simultaneously by Lunique-gite (or its representative) and the tenant, the inventory and/or the furniture list established solely by Lunique-gite (or its representative) and provided to the tenant upon entry into the accommodation will be disputable by the tenant within 48 hours following the delivery of the inventory. In the absence of any dispute by the tenant within this 48-hour period, the inventory and the furniture list established by Lunique-gite and communicated to the tenant upon entry into the accommodation will be deemed accepted without reservation by the tenant.

Cancellation: In case of cancellation by the tenant, if the cancellation occurs less than 6 days before the start of the rental, the full amount of the rental will be due. Cancellation is allowed up to 6 days before the start of the rental.

If the stay is shortened:

The rental price remains due to the owner, and no refunds will be made.

Force Majeure and Cancellation: The Lunique-gite website reserves the right to cancel a reservation in case of force majeure. Force majeure refers to any unforeseeable, irresistible, and independent event beyond our control, such as natural disasters, fires, strikes, social conflicts, security issues, acts of terrorism, epidemics or pandemics, government restrictions, border closures, personal circumstances, etc. In case of cancellation due to force majeure, the customer will be fully reimbursed for all amounts paid for the reservation, without any compensation or indemnification.

In case of cancellation by the client, the following conditions apply:

  • If the cancellation occurs more than 6 days before the start of the rental, the deposit will be fully refunded.

  • If the cancellation occurs less than 6 days before the start of the rental, the full amount of the rental will be due and will not be refunded.

Any cancellation must be notified by email or by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt. The date of receipt of the cancellation will be considered as the effective cancellation date.

By reserving a cottage on the Lunique-gite website, the customer acknowledges having read the cancellation conditions and force majeure cases stated above and accepts them without reservation.

Payment: The payment for the rental is made online on the website by credit card. The deposit payment must be made at the time of booking.

Use of the Premises: The tenant agrees to use the cottage properly and to respect the rules of communal living. Smoking inside the cottage and organizing parties or noisy events are prohibited. Pets are not allowed. For your peace of mind and considering the layout of the premises and stairs, the house is not suitable for young children. The premises with old stairs are not suitable for wheelchairs, which may make access difficult or impossible for certain people with disabilities. By validating your reservation, you declare that you have read this information. The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the premises by avoiding any noise or behavior caused by them, their family, or their relations that could disturb the neighborhood. The house should be left in the same condition as found. An electric barbecue is provided and must be cleaned of all food residues after use.

Pool: To ensure the safety of everyone, the pool (1.40 m deep) is secured with an alarm. Therefore, the owner of the Mas de S cottage will not be held responsible for any accidents that may occur on the property and in the pool.

Liability: The cottage owner cannot be held responsible for accidents or damages suffered by the tenant during the rental period. The tenant must be covered by civil liability insurance for any damages they may cause during their stay.

Disputes: In case of a dispute between the parties, they agree to seek an amicable solution. In the absence of an amicable solution, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts. The Client, being a consumer, may have free recourse to a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of any dispute concerning the sales service (reservation), including the National Association of Mediators (ANM), 2 RUE DE COLMAR, 94300 VINCENNES, 01 46 81 20 95, www.anm-conso.com, and C&C MEDIATION, www.cc-mediateurconso-bfc.fr, 37 rue des chênes, 25480 Miserey Salines.

Modification of the T&C: The cottage owner reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions of sale at any time. The new general terms and conditions of sale will apply to reservations made after their publication on the website.

Applicable Law: These general terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law. Any dispute concerning their interpretation or execution will be submitted to the competent courts.

Data Protection: The Lunique-gite website is committed to protecting the personal data of its customers. The information collected during the reservation of a cottage is necessary to ensure the management of reservations and the proper execution of rental contracts.

The personal data collected may include the name, email address, postal address, phone number, credit or debit card number, and any other information necessary for the management of the reservation.

The processing of this data is carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations, particularly the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The collected data is stored securely and is only used for the purpose of cottage reservation and communication with the customer. The personal data of customers is never transmitted to third parties without their prior consent, except for legal or regulatory obligations. The customer has the right to access, rectify, object to, and delete their personal data. They can exercise these rights at any time by contacting the website via email or postal mail.
